Springfield Vets have a new opening for a GP Veterinary Surgeon or even a Consultations only Veterinary Surgeon to join at their wonderful team at their Ecclesfield practice in Sheffield.

You will be joining a longstanding 5 strong Vet team including certificate holders!

Our skilled veterinary experts provide regular check-ups, vaccinations, microchipping and more advanced procedures that you'll be part of.

We are a lovely team here with a big support network. Ecclesfield site is a modern facility and our vets have certificates in surgery and dermatology. If ophthalmology is your interest, we can certainly facilitate this. We have dental x-ray and there could also be an opportunity for someone who is keen to learn laparoscopic spaying as we have recently started offering this procedure to our clients, we also have a brand-new ultrasound machine.

Our Team: We are a very nice, experienced and supporting team; we work as a family and take care of each other. We have a very stable management team where every one of our senior management positions were filled internally through internal promotion so lots of progression stories within our Team! Some of us are involved in bigger CVS projects, there are many opportunities available!

 

About you

We are seeking a GP Veterinary Surgeon to join our fun, friendly and supportive team. We can even accommodate a Consultations Veterinary Surgeon only role if this is what you prefer. You will be:

  • Driven by shared passion to provide the best possible care to animals, you're committed to delivering outstanding care to support our patients and their owners.
  • Confident in your clinical skills, you'll be able to take on surgical and medical cases and carry out diagnostic investigations with precision.
  • Keen to develop, you're committed to gaining further confidence in clinical skills so that you can manage or lead on different case types
  • A natural mentor and team player, you'll enjoy supporting and inspiring all colleagues to help them thrive. Providing ongoing support to team members with opportunities for progression.
  • Client care comes naturally to you, you know how to create a positive, reassuring experience that builds trust and long-lasting relationships.
  • As an experienced vet you'll be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.

 

Rota: This is a full-time role, 40 hours a week across 4 days, however, we would be open to discussing part time hours as part of a role split. We believe this role offers a great work-life balance and the chance to join an established team.

We are based in Ecclesfield, Sheffield, commutable from Rotherham, Doncaster, Chesterfield, Dronfield, Staveley, Clowne, Worksop, Stocksbridge, Hoyland, Barnsley, Penistone, Wombwell, Rawmarsh, Mexborough, Coinsbrough, Maltby, Wickersley and other locations in the Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottingham areas.
