Veterinary Surgeon, Broadleaf, Sheffield and Dronfield, Yorkshire. Fixed term contract. 6 – 12 months.

We have an opportunity for a Small Animal Vet to join us at Broadleaf Vets on a fixed term contract for either 6 or 12 month contract. We can even accommodate a consultations only role if that's what you would prefer.

Rota: 35 hours a week. 3.5 days a week. No OOH's, No Sundays, No Bank holidays. We can be flexible so please get in touch.

You'll be joining a wonderful, friendly, and supportive team of vets, RVNs, and receptionists, with a strong and well established structure. Within the team, we have certificate holders in ECC and Anaesthesia, as well as Advanced Practitioners, providing outstanding clinical support led by our Head Vet, Clinical Director and Senior Practice Director. We also ensure protected time within the working day for case follow ups, clinical administration, and research, allowing you to deliver the best possible patient care.

We take great pride in our loyal and appreciative client base, who truly value the care we provide. With separate dog and cat wards, we ensure a calm and comfortable experience for all our patients.

About you

We are seeking a GP Veterinary Surgeon to join our fun, friendly and supportive team. We can even accommodate a Consultations Veterinary Surgeon only role if this is what you prefer.  You will be:

 

  • Driven by shared passion to provide the best possible care to animals, you're committed to delivering outstanding care to support our patients and their owners.
  • Confident in your clinical skills, you'll be able to take on cases and carry out diagnostic investigations with precision.
  • Keen to develop, you're committed to gaining further confidence in clinical skills so that you can manage or lead on different case types
  • A natural mentor and team player, you'll enjoy supporting and inspiring all colleagues to help them thrive. Providing ongoing support to team members with opportunities for progression.
  • Client care comes naturally to you, you know how to create a positive, reassuring experience that builds trust and long-lasting relationships.
  • As a vet you'll be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.
