Contract: Permanent

Salary: up to £75,000 FTE – dependent on experience

Hours available:

• Approximately 21hrs a week – part-time option
• 40 hrs a week - 4 or 5‑day weeks - full‑time option
• No Nights (contribution to weekend day rota)

Join a progressive, multi-site veterinary team serving communities across Wiltshire, with practices in Warminster, Westbury, Bradford on Avon, and our 24/7 hospital in Trowbridge.

Working across our sites gives you the opportunity to enjoy a varied caseload, broaden your clinical experience, and collaborate with a friendly, supportive team. All our practices are equipped to manage both medical and surgical day cases, with facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and dental services. Our Westbury and Trowbridge sites also offer dental x-ray, providing additional opportunities to develop your skills and confidence across a wide range of cases.

Our Trowbridge site has been providing emergency OOH care for our clients and sister practices, as well as independent GP sites in the surrounding area since 2018. Earlier this year in 2026 we received hospital status through the RCVS Practice Standards Accreditation Scheme, reflecting our commitment to delivering high-quality round the clock patient care.

As a fully integrated service, our daytime and out-of-hours teams work closely together, giving you the chance to follow cases through and benefit from strong clinical continuity. The hospital provides facilities for routine day patients as well as comprehensive inpatient and emergency care, offering an excellent environment for learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

About you

We're looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. Working within a culture where clinicians are empowered to make the best decisions, where improvement is encouraged and where best practice is shared, you will be:

• Confident in your clinical skills, you'll be able to take the lead on surgical and medical cases and carry out diagnostic investigations with precision.
• Keen to develop, you're committed to gaining further confidence in clinical skills so that you can manage or lead on different case types
• A natural mentor and team player, you'll enjoy supporting and inspiring all colleagues to help them thrive.
• Client care comes naturally to you, you know how to create a positive, reassuring experience that builds trust and long-lasting relationships.
• As an experienced vet, you'll bring a strong level of clinical autonomy and be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards
