Nute Veterinary Surgery are seeking a new Veterinary Surgeon to join our fun and friendly team in Wadebridge, Cornwall.

Life at Nute

The role will suit a GP Veterinary Surgeon who can adapt to varying client needs and manage expectations with an empathetic approach. We will gladly support those wanting to pursue a certificate.

Our modern, bright practice boasts five consult rooms, excellent parking facilities for staff and clients, and a fantastic location with cafés on the doorstep and the beach only 10 minutes away.

We have lots of great kit including a dental suite and x-ray, ultrasound, digital x-ray and multiparameter machine. You'll be supported by a highly skilled and experienced nursing team, a strong and welcoming reception team, and a long-standing veterinary team committed to delivering excellent patient care and fostering a collaborative working environment. We are also a Silver Standard Cat friendly Clinic and a Dogs trust Dog Friendly Clinic.

Short term accommodation is available above the practice if required.

The role is full time 40 hours a week - we would also consider a part time rota. 1:3 Saturday mornings working with another Vet. No OOH. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months, starting as soon as possible. 

Most of our vets work a 4 day week but we are happy to be flexible with working hours and patterns. Please get in touch to discuss what you are looking for!

Nute are in Wadebridge, commutable from Padstow, Polzeath, Port Isaac, Newquay, Bodmin, Tintagel, St Austell, Liskeard and other locations in Cornwall. We are located close to some of Cornwall's best beaches with a rota that allows plenty of time off to enjoy them.

  • Client care comes naturally to you, you know how to create a positive, reassuring experience that builds trust and long-lasting relationships.
  • As an experienced vet you'll be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.
