Part Time Vet required for busy practice 2 days a week. Ideally Monday and Tuesday weekly and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
Established in 1989, we are a small animal practice located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
Our practice is easily accessible; we offer disabled access and on-site parking.
Our friendly and experienced veterinary team provide the highest quality of veterinary care, surgery and treatment – along with regular check-ups and routine procedures.
Due to our flexible approach to rota patterns this vacancy is suitable to part-time applicants.

We would ask for a fair share of participation in our Saturday morning rota currently 1:4.
Role: Small Animal Vet (2+ years' experience)
Hours: Full shift 10.5 hours (to be discussed)
Days: (Ideally Monday / Tuesday) to be discussed.
Salary: £65,000 FTE (depending on experience and qualifications).
The successful candidate will be working with an experienced team of 3 Vets with interests in cardiology, internal medicine and dermatology. The practice has a well-established team of 4 RVNs supporting 2 SVNs. Johnston also have a visiting Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery.
There are no OOH or Bank Holiday working requirements for this role.

The role can vary depending on your interests however the general caseload at present is 50% consults and 50% surgery. (We will consider consult only).
We can also offer the opportunity for you to try us before you join us by working a fixed term contract of up to 6 months.
