Life at YourVets Wythall

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours across 4 days with a share in the 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota. We can also consider part-time, flexible applications – just let us know what works for you.
 
YourVets Wythall are a well-established small animal practice, offering a fantastic work-life balance with no-out-hours and minimal bank holiday commitments, located in a pleasant semi-rural area just off Junction 3 of the M43, providing easy driving access to Birmingham, Solihull, and surrounding countryside. The role would mainly consist of one operating shift during the week, followed 3 consulting shifts with the exception of any emergencies.

Our facilities include a digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab machines, and access to a CT Scanner at YourVets Solihull, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care.  We are committed to ensuring a friendly and collaborative environment where everyone is supported in providing the best possible care to animals. We are very development-focused and can support with any CPD interests.

 
About you: 
 
We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Wythall team. Working within a culture where clinicians are empowered to make the best decisions, where improvement is encouraged and where best practice is shared, you will be:

• Confident in your clinical skills, you'll be able to take the lead on surgical and medical cases, and carry out diagnostic investigations with precision. 

• Keen to develop, you're committed to gaining further confidence in clinical skills so that you can manage or lead on different case types 

• A natural mentor and team player, you'll enjoy supporting and inspiring all colleagues to help them thrive. 

• Client care comes naturally to you, you know how to create a positive, reassuring experience that builds trust and long-lasting relationships. 

• As an experienced vet, you'll bring a strong level of clinical autonomy and be comfortable handling a varied caseload, offering guidance to the wider team and contributing to shaping clinical standards.
