Frome Equine Vets are looking for an organised, motivated and friendly Veterinary Technician / Nurse with an administrative focus to join our busy equine practice.
This is a varied and rewarding role combining clinical support with essential administrative duties, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a close‑knit team and taking pride in keeping a practice running smoothly.
The Role
Working full time (40 hours per week), your role will include a mix of:
- Supporting our vets with day‑to‑day clinical tasks
- Assisting with stock control, medicines and equipment management
- Handling client communications, bookings and enquiries

General administrative duties including record keeping, invoicing support and compliance

Insurance claims.
- Supporting the practice manager with operational tasks as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience as a veterinary technician, veterinary nurse or in a similar role (equine experience preferred but not essential)
- Is well organised with strong attention to detail
- Is confident using computer systems and comfortable with administration
- Has a friendly and professional communication style
- Enjoys teamwork but can also work independently
- Is reliable, flexible and keen to learn
